Provision, Power, and Praise
Mark 6:37-44

I. The PROBLEM: Recognizing the Need (Mark 6:37-38)
A. The People’s Petition: “He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat.” (Mark 6:37)
B. The Disciples’ Dilemma:”Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread?” (Mark 6:37)
C. The Divine Directive: “How many loaves have ye? go and see.” (Mark 6:38)

II. The PROVISION: Recognizing the Power (Mark 6:39-41)
A. The Organized Obedience: “Make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.” (Mark 6:39)
B. The Observant Offering: “;He looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves.”(Mark 6:41)
C. The Omnipotent Outpouring: “Gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes
divided he among them all.” (Mark 6:41)

III. The Provision’s PROOF: Demonstrating the Divine (Mark 6:42-44)
A. Satisfaction for All: “They did all eat, and were filled.” (Mark 6:42)
B. The Surplus: “Twelve baskets full of the fragments.” (Mark 6:43)
C. The Savior’s Sovereignty: The miracle demonstrates Jesus’ divine authority over creation.
